The Wilson Reads and Barton Summer Reader Committees have selected a common reader, Laura Hillenbrand’s Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption. The public and college libraries are coordinating events, such as speakers and book discussions, related to the book.
Hackney Library serves the Wilson County community as well as the Barton College campus. We offer internet access to community patrons, and we have a reciprocal borrowing agreement with the Wilson County Public Library. This allows Barton College students to check out materials from the public library, and public library patrons to check out books from the college library.Sign up today!
